1. Not professional advice
Almost Fine Hustle is a survival companion built by humans who have been broke. Nothing in this app — including gig listings, budgeting tips, survival guides, the AI companion, or community posts — is financial, legal, medical, or mental health advice. For decisions with real consequences, talk to a licensed professional.
2. Gigs & opportunities
We aggregate publicly available work opportunities. We don't employ you, vet employers, or guarantee pay, hours, safety, or eligibility. Read every platform's terms before signing up. Never pay to get a job. If a "gig" asks for payment, gift cards, or your bank login — it's a scam.
3. Emergency resources
Phone numbers, hotlines, and aid programs are provided as starting points, not endorsements. Coverage, hours, and eligibility change. If you're in immediate danger, call your local emergency services. In the US: 911 for emergencies, 988 for suicide and mental-health crisis.
4. The community wall
Posts are anonymous, unverified, and written by strangers. Take what helps, leave what doesn't. Don't share personal information you don't want public. We moderate visible spam, harassment, and illegal content but we can't catch everything in real time. Report anything that hurts.
5. AI companion
The Companion is a chat tool. It can be wrong, miss context, or say something unhelpful. It is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer, or accountant. If you are in crisis, contact a real human at 988 (US) or your local crisis line.
6. Your data
Sign-in is optional. If you sign in, we store your handle, bookmarks, tracker entries, task progress, and community posts so they sync across devices. You can delete your account at any time from the account screen. We don't sell your data.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is," with no warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the makers of Almost Fine Hustle are not liable for any losses — financial, emotional, or otherwise — arising from your use of the app or the information in it. You use this app at your own discretion and risk.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
